The Mars Rover

Nasa have made small machines to go to Mars.
These are called Mars Rovers and have done 2 missions.
The first one cost 300 million dollars.
The second cost 200million dollars.

The Rovers were called Spirit and Opportunity.
A girl named them in a "name the Rovers" competition at school!
The Rovers helped us see a lot of features from Mars like The Whitewater Lake rock

The universe is a vast space.
It holds lots of Galaxies. Galaxies have lots of stars. These are a few types of stars:

                                                                       Red Giant

                                                                        White Dwarf

                                                                         neutron star
                                       

                                          When a star dies it may become a black hole.
                                          Black holes have a lot of gravity, so they suck everything in their path.

This is a space cloud which is known as a nebula.
